About me:
After growing up in country Victoria, Australia, and completing her Masters of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe university, Melbourne, Bethany has been working in private practice ever since. She believes in an active rehabilitation for patients across all age groups, treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions; facilitated by combined knowledge in manual therapy, hydrotherapy, clinical pilates, strength and conditioning and Women’s health. Apart from working in rehabilitation, Bethany has also worked alongside Australian Football League teams, men and women, managing injuries on and off the field.
Bethany completed a Bachelor of Exercise science prior to physiotherapy, which continues to cultivate a strong interest in active rehabilitation. Coming from an athletics background, Bethany is passionate about all things running, running based injuries (having had her fair share) and returning to running postpartum. Another passion lies in the treatment, prevention and management of acute and long standing lower back and pelvic girdle pain. She believes heavily in patient education and emphasising the importance of movement and continued strength training, especially in the women’s health population.
Bethany loves a chat and getting to know her patients, while also helping them return to the activities that they love.
