About Me:

Ziggy is a mother of two boys, and is extremely passionate about all things motherhood, parenting and wellness. She was born and raised (for the most part) in Hong Kong. Prior to her first pregnancy in 2016, her focus was strength & conditioning, body composition, transformation and weight loss through both nutrition and training. After having children, experiencing both vaginal and cesarean recovery first-hand, her efforts have shifted into helping women feel physically and mentally prepared for pregnancy, labour & delivery, and to recover both emotionally and physically in postpartum.

After the birth of her first son, experiencing a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder, and struggling to find the time to exercise (even as a professional), she realised the importance of the motherhood community. She began bring-your-baby-to exercise classes, mums and bubs, and babywearing workouts to create a space for mothers to connect, have fun, and move well!

Her background is in Psychology, and is also a certified Holistic Life Coach. She works exclusively with women, and is also the co-founder of the Mom Body Soul Podcast where they highlight both personal and professional stories related to the perinatal period and parenthood transition.

Professional Specialities:

Women’s pre & post-natal exercise with a keen interest:

  • in breath work for a better birth,

  • diastasis recti (abdominal separation) rehabilitation,

  • returning to impact exercise from pelvic floor dysfunction

  • sustainable body composition

Most of Ziggy’s clients are mothers who:

  • have never trained before and want to learn how to move well.

  • are expecting, and want to move well during their pregnancies.

  • wish to be an active part of their birth and postpartum.

  • have led active lifestyles and wish to continue during pregnancy and postpartum.

  • have dysfunction (abdominal separation, pelvic floor issues etc), but want to move safely and be strong.

  • want to bring their babies with them to exercise.

Personal Special Interests:

During the week, you’ll find Ziggy practicing yoga and the aerial arts like aerial silks, and on the weekends you’ll find her hiking in the New Territories, swimming in the pool or down by the beach making sand castles with her family and dog.
