About Me:
Jenny is a Specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapist and Director of the Women's Health Team at Joint Dynamics Evolve.
She is a mum of three, loves to stay active (when possible!), beach days and the occasional mums night out! She is down-to-earth and approachable. Having managed her own prolapse journey and post natal anxiety, she has first-hand experience of both the physical and emotional considerations postnatally, and is passionate about supporting women with what they CAN do not a list of things they CAN'T"
She graduated in 2008 from St Georges University of London, then worked in the NHS system for 5 years before specialising in private physiotherapy. She has extensive experience in sports physiotherapy having toured with Matthew Bournes Swan Lake Ballet company, and worked with high level runners, athletes and dancers. Her Women's Health interest was sparked particularly with the Ballet Company when she worked closely with numerous female athletes and saw first-hand the importance of a different approach to female performance and injury.
She now specialises in the management of females across all life stages from menstrual irregularities and pelvic pain, through pre-post-natal to peri- and post- menopause. She treats a variety of conditions including stress incontinence, prolapse, overactive bladder, faecal incontinence, sexual pain, vulval pain issues, pelvic pain, lumbar pain, breastfeeding-related clogged ducts and is a specialist in diastasis and abdominal wall rehabilitation.
She has a particular interest in exercise and is passionate about keeping women active in their pregnancy, as well as, facilitating a safe and effective return to sport postnatally, and keeping women active into peri- and post- menopause.
Physio Philosophy:
Team work makes the dream work. Jenny is always striving to find ways to make Women’s Health information and education accessible. Her and her team run an informative free instagram page (@jointdynamicsevolve), regularly host events, speak at corporate events and run training courses for Personal Trainers who want to work with pre- and post- natal women.
No question is a silly or embarrassing question.
