Anthea Lannoy

Personal Trainer

Women’s Health Personal Trainer

About Me:

Anthea grew up in the UK where she trained as a professional dancer and Teacher. She is a qualified Personal Trainer, Group Class Instructor and Pre-Post natal certified Personal Trainer working with a variety of women across their life stages.

A mum herself she has a particular passon for working with other mothers - supporting women to feel empowered in their bodies and helping them to create balance in their wellness and fitness routines. She places a strong emphasis on the mental and emotional benefits that exercise can support and firmly believes that fitness is as much about mental health as it is physical.

Anthea loves to incorporate her dance training into her workouts through mobility and a strong pilates influence and most importantly, making workouts fun and motivational.

She is passionate to help other mums incorporate their physical well-being into their lifestyles and understands the challenges of doing this whilst being a mum - this is what has fuelled her desire to work with our Women’s Health team.

Personal Special Interests:

When Anthea isn’t in the gym with the clients, she is usually doing something active either inside or outside the gym! Anthea loves working out, hiking with her son and is an avid home baker so if she isn’t outdoors, she will be whipping something up in the kitchen for her friends and family!

Philosophy:

Life is all about balance - and having a healthy body will lead to a healthy mind.

Anthea helped me feel like me again., I was so lost in myself; physically i didn’t recognise myself and mentally i felt i had lost my inner strength and purpose. Joining her circuits classes combined with 1:1 PT sessions I developed a hugely improved understanding about my body, what’s important with exercise and loved learning about the body-mind connection. I am now 3 years post natal and still love her sessions, the community of the classes and her infectious laugh!
