Anna Goener

Senior Women’s Health Physiotherapist

About me:

After completing her undergraduate Physiotherapy degree at the University of Queensland, Anna proceeded to work across various states within the Australian public healthcare system. Anna’s interest in Women’s/Pelvic Health was sparked through exposure to the  Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward and outpatient clinics. She has worked in  Women’s Health physiotherapy in both private and public health care settings over the past decade, building extensive experience working with clinicians from the wider multi-disciplinary team.

She believes that an understanding of, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, improves holistic care and ultimately, the client’s outcomes. Anna also values the importance of building a safe and respectful professional relationship with her clients. She enjoys learning what is important to them and supports her clients to achieve their goals.

As a lover of learning, Anna undertook further training at the University of Melbourne, and completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in 2019. More recently, she has become a mum, which has made her more empathetic to the competing demands of being a parent, while rehabilitating an injury or concern.
